Our user interface is designed to be simple, intuitive, and easy to use.
You can block or allow numbers and names in the following ways:
1) Add Entries Manually
Use the “Add Entry” section to add numbers or names directly to your Blacklist or Whitelist.
You can enter full or partial numbers/names.
Choose the Match Type: Exact Match, Contains, Starts With, or Ends With.
Select the List Type you want to add the entry to (Blacklist or Whitelist).

Important:
- We strongly recommend avoiding the manual method for building your call lists. Instead, use the approach described in Section 2 to create your Blacklist and Whitelist automatically.
Why?
When you add numbers manually, you must know exactly how the phone numbers are registered on your phone line. Even small differences can prevent entries from working correctly. For example:
-
If you manually enter a local 10-digit number such as 305-512-1234, but your phone system registers calls as 1-305-512-1234, the block will not take effect.
-
The same applies to names. If you want to block calls with “FLORIDA” in the name field, but your incoming calls display only “FL” or “FLO,” the entry will not match and will fail to block the call.
-
By using the method in Section 2, your UBlocker automatically recognizes how numbers and names are logged, helping you avoid these common errors.
2) Move Calls from the New List
You can also block or allow numbers directly from your New List:
Open the New List section.
Click the buttons labeled “Move to Whitelist” or “Move to Blacklist” under each number.
Important:
- We highly recommend you use this method to build your Blacklist and Whitelist instead of the doing it manually.
- The ability to move calls from your New List becomes available as incoming calls start populating your New List. So, when you first setup your UBlocker you will not be able to do this. Just wait a few days so that new calls come in, and then you will be able to start building your Blacklist and Whitelist.
3) Use the Global Blacklist Search
Search for a number in the Global Blacklist Search section to see if it’s already listed in our global database.
If the number appears in the Global Blacklist, it is automatically blocked — you do not need to add it again.
If you want to receive calls from a number that appears on the Global Blacklist, add it to your Whitelist to override the global filter.
